Reflection

Reflection often means that things didn't look the way you thought they did.

People weren't who you thought they were.

Friendships didn't mean what you thought they did.

Looking back never gives you a clear picture.

Time to look forward, move ahead.

Reach beyond, learn new things, find new friends.

Improve, change, learn, grow.

With or without clear picture.

To finally put yourself in focus.

We all know that Miley Cyrus song, right? Life is a journey, for sure. And I can tell you that you have to focus on joyful moments.

But today, this is the only mountain I am going to climb...

New Year's Eve!

It's been a big year... what with getting married and all. And this little fam decided to end it in true Buley fashion- SNOWSHOEING! We went with some old friends, and some new ones... but it was so cold- only a degree or two, that our camera only got a few shots. Here they are!

Ken and I attended the funeral of a dear friend's mother today. It surely made me think a lot about how I will be remembered when I pass away. I have so far to go, so much to learn and I hope that I can live my life with even half the grace and poise that this woman lived hers.

I not only grieve with this family, but rejoice in her miraculous and noble life. Thank you, Kathy Edwards, for your example of kindness, love and your legacy of faith. All who knew you were touched by your amazing spirit.
